    Cool

I found this new store near me (the store is new to me, it's been around awhile)

They specialize in vintage toys, I got there and they had loads of classic starwars, GI Joe, and G1 transformers.

The prices were reasonable. It wasn't like finding some golden treasure at a flea market, but it wasn't like going to a vintage boutique either. They were reasonable.

Anyway, I walked outta there with this gem

we the box is in good condition (some shelf wear) but we open up the tape and pull out the batmobile to see the condition its in. and there was a surprise!

A MINT batman was sitting behind the wheel. He had is cape intact, and he was holding that little batarang. His retractable bat belt thing also worked too!

So he was asking $40 for the thing... I had brought some Toy Fair swag from years past, and we traded. I felt good because I didn't want this swag anymore (and had a hard time selling it on eBay) and the guy was happy with the deal.

I asked him if I could come by and shoot the place sometime, put up a photo tour on my site, and he said yes.

If you'd like to see the rest of these pics, click here full listing

I'm working on a write up that will include this toy, so it's just a straight listing.

Wheaton MD... just north of the Capitol beltway around DC.

Hey, if you guys come to my BBQ this summer, we'll work that into the event. We'll all take a trip down there.

    Question

Oh !! Is this the place that also sells trains? I've bought a bunch of Spawn stuff from that guy. There's also a comic and toy store across the street from it.

There's also a pretty good Italian grocery down the street.

The Toy Exchange !! That's the place. Yeah, there's another place in the 'alley' if it's still there. I haven't been up there in a few months. I've taken Andyman and Naz to both of them.

I usually work on Saturday, but I'd love to go back up on a Sunday. There are some nice Latino retsaurants in the area too.
